HORSE TRAINING, LESSONS, WORKSHOPS & COURSES
THE GOAL,
The goal is to share knowledge and help as many humans and horses learn better ways of interacting and relating. Helping horses and humans how to understand, learn and teach one another and in turn enjoy each other.
Hopefully in spreading this knowledge and these techniques, some horses and humans may be guided away from the consequences of misunderstandings.
THE METHOD,
From the ground all the way through to the saddle, learn about the species, psychology & behavior, the language & communication, the individual and the tools/exercises to accomplish any horsemanship goals.
All the confusion is lost when you understand and apply the how, what, when, where and why during your interactions with your horse. By learning this knowledge and the skills/exercises, you will build a lasting foundation between you and your equine partner.
The
TRAINER,
Leah has been drawn to horses from the moment she could talk. This passion lead her down the normal path of riding schools, dressage coaches, ex racehorses, confusion and so on. We've all been there.
However her luck changed one day when she met her mentor Ian Bruce. Many years of studying Ian's horsemanship techniques later, she took his knowledge and decided to help share it further.
Since then she has had the privilege of helping many horses and their humans understand one another and to create more fulfilling horse and human interactions.
About
WHO,
LV Horsemanship teaches anyone willing to learn. It doesn't matter what, age, gender, level or experience and that is not just applicable to the human. If you have a desire to learn more then LVH can help you.
Where,
LVH travels to you and services the Northern Rivers area. Byron Bay, Ballina and Lismore areas are on Leah's regular schedule.

What YOU WILL learn,
A clear step by step program where clients learn through the process of teaching/training their horses everything that has been missing from their interactions.
From the ground all the way through to the saddle clients learn about the species, psychology & behaviour the language & communication, the individual and the tools/exercises to effectively communicate and relate to one another.
Lessons typically start on the ground with a number of round yard exercises that establish communication, relationship, respect and focus. From here the exercises move into "In hand" and "Lunging" style groundwork. Precision, body control and set up for all ridden exercises is the aim here. Finally what has been developed on the ground will directly translate into the ridden work as we start to apply these techniques into the saddle.
All the confusion is lost as you understand how, what, when, where and why with your horse interactions. By learning this knowledge and these skills, you will build a lasting foundation between you and your horse/s.
